The program and source can be found in the creator's google project page. While the exact details are a bit scant at this point, the DarwiinRemote will purportedly work with IR-equipped Macs, as well as ones with Bluetooth. Will definitely buy RB once I can confirm that it works with the Wii Remote Plus.ĭarwiinRemote does NOT support Wii Remote Plus too (as if Mountain Lion didn't make this hard enough) I have yet to find someone with a working IR mouse implementation with the newer Wii Remote Plus.ĮDIT: WJoy 0.5.1 I can confirm pairs with the RVL-CNT-01-TR model on OSX 10.8.2. I have no sensor bar (which is just power to two IR LEDs, right), but I did use two candles as my IR surrogates as a last ditch effort. No recording of activity, no indication of what to do next. DarwiinRemote senses it, but then nothing. And I'm unable to get a Wii Remote to work with it. Neither method works for Remote Buddy 1.23. In OS X 10.10.3 it crashes on every other feature toggle. I can get the same remote working on Dolphin 3.5-322 gamecube/wii emulator, but it cannot be paired via 1+2 anymore (only the Red sync button). It pairs, but disconnects almost immediately (sync button is required for initial pairing, 1+2 nor sync will hold the connection after remote is paired).

These newer Wii remotes are now the default controllers that come with the new Wii U.
DARWIINREMOTE NOT WORKING UPDATE
I had to update to a more recent, experimental version. ago Did that to me all the time in the official Dolphin 5.0 release.

ago Try a different version of dolphin 1 level 1 There are some reports where some Wii Remote Pluses still use the old Bluetooth model, but I cannot personally confirm. Try deleting everything in your documents/dolphin/config folder to reset your settings. The Wii Remote Plus (built in MotionPlus) use a Bluetooth model RVL-CNT-01-TR whereas the older Wii Remotes use model RVL-CNT-01. I can reproduce this problem on OSX 10.8.2.
